Non-Destructive Testing

Detection Without Damage — Laboratory Precision Brought to Field and Workshop

ISO 9712 certified NDT personnel, QR-coded digital reporting.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is the detection of internal discontinuities, surface flaws, or dimensional deviations of a component without taking it out of service or damaging it. At ASİS UK, we deliver all conventional methods and the advanced techniques the industry requires — through our ISO 9712 certified NDT personnel — in both field environments (refineries, construction sites, pipelines) and workshop conditions.

Every inspection finding is digitally reported with the ASİS UK seal and a Smart-Cert QR code; your global partners, customers, or customs authorities can verify your document within seconds.

Conventional NDT Methods

All industry-standard core methods — certified personnel, calibrated equipment, traceable procedure.

  • Radiographic Testing (RT)

Imaging of internal discontinuities in welded fabrications, thick sections, and cast components using X-ray and gamma sources. Digital radiography (DR/CR) and film-based options.

  • Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Detection of sub-surface discontinuities using high-frequency sound waves. Applications across weld seams, plate, and forged components.

  • Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

Rapid detection of surface and near-surface cracks in ferromagnetic materials via magnetic flux leakage. AC/DC yoke and fluorescent dye options.

  • Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)

Revelation of open surface discontinuities by capillary action on non-magnetic metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. Preferred method where MT cannot be applied; color contrast and fluorescent options.

  • Visual Testing (VT)

Primary assessment carried out by certified inspectors in compliance with ISO 17637 and API 1104. Remote video borescopy options.

  • Leak Testing (LT)

Tightness verification for pressure vessels, tanks, and pipelines. Pressure decay, helium, and bubble methods.

Advanced NDT Methods

Engineered solutions for complex geometries, critical components, and high safety requirements.

  • Phased Array Ultrasonic (PAUT)

Advanced ultrasonic method where a multi-element probe electronically steers sound waves at multiple angles. Wide areas of complex-geometry components are inspected in a single scanning pass — far faster than conventional UT — with results recorded as digital images.

  • Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD)

Millimeter-accurate flaw sizing in deep weld seams. Fast digital alternative to radiography.

  • Eddy Current Testing (ECT)

Surface and sub-surface discontinuity detection in tubes, heat exchangers, and aerospace structural components via electromagnetic induction.

  • Acoustic Emission (AE)

Real-time condition monitoring of in-service pressure vessels, storage tanks, and structural components via active defect tracking.

Sector Applications and Field Services

  • Petrochemical and Refinery Field NDT

Periodic comprehensive inspection of reactors, columns, heat exchangers, and process piping; full support during shutdown/turnaround periods.

  • Pipeline NDT

Radiographic and AUT (automated UT) inspection of transmission line weld seams; API 1104 compliant reporting.

  • Process Inspection in Welded Fabrication

NDT per approved procedure on every weld for production lines under EN ISO 3834, AS EN 9100, EN 15085.

  • Workshop / Fabrication Plant Service

Systematic inspection of pressure vessels, machinery, and structural steel components at the customer's site, the supplier's factory, or in fabrication workshops.

From Field to Cloud: Instant QR-Coded Verification

Every inspection finding is digitally recorded at source. No paper forms required, no data lost.

  • Instant Field-to-Cloud Data Transfer

Our field engineers transmit measurement and digital form data directly from inspection equipment to our Smart-Cert cloud platform. Data integrity and traceability guaranteed.

  • QR-Coded NDT Reports

Every inspection report is delivered with the ASİS UK seal, a unique report number, and a verification QR code. Your customer or partner verifies your document in seconds.

  • Cloud Archive and Historical Inquiry

The multi-year inspection history of your equipment is accessible through a single cloud portal; the next scheduled NDT is tracked transparently.

Every NDT report is available 24/7 on the ASİS UK cloud portal with your dedicated username and password — no paper, no loss.
